Dear Alumni –
As we wrap up the academic year, we would like to wish our graduates the best of luck in their future endeavors. Also, due to popular demand, we have launched an Orthopaedics Alumni Directory. Congratulations to the Greater Fleming Open Winners – Harris Slone, Gregory Tayrose, and Zeke Walton

Bubba and Bwana Award goes to Bryan Sirmon! This is voted on by the chiefs and awarded to the top PGY2 resident.

The George Wright Faculty of the Year Award was awarded to Dr. Thomas Bradbury by the chief residents!

Resident research award winners were:
1st place – Mihir Desai “Arthroscopic Repair of Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex Tears: A Biomechanical Comparison of a knotless Suture Anchor and the Traditional Outside-In Technique”
2nd place – Elise Hiza “Analysis of Length of Stay and Cost-Effectiveness before and after the Addition of a Dedicated Orthopaedic Mid-Level Provider in a Lever I Trauma Center”
3rd place – Brent Wise “Long-term Results of Extensor Mechanism Reconstruction Using Achilles Tendon Allograft after Knee Arthroplasty”

Announcements:
• Our Kelly Society alumni directory is now active and available on the website. In order to access this directory to update your information, or to find your colleagues, you must be up-to-date with your dues. We have made the dues payment process easier by allowing you to join Kelly Society and pay your dues online! Please contact shaina.lane@emory.edu with any questions you have.

Upcoming Events:
**Change to Department Education Conference** - These lectures will be held on Friday mornings starting at 6:30am, effective July 1st. Please join us for any of the lectures by logging into Adobe Connect if you are unable to attend in person. Please sign in with your full (first and last) name so we can appropriately award CME credit. This web based program is interactive, so you are able to ask questions from home! emory.adobeconnect.com/ortho

There will be no lectures on July 4th in observance of the holiday.

The curriculum will resume with M&M on July 11th and the trauma block from July 18th – August 29th.
