Musculoskeletal Oncology

The mission of the Emory Orthopaedics Oncology service is to evaluate and treat patients with primary and metastatic tumors of the bone and soft tissues. We have the only multipdisciplinary musculosekeletal oncology service in Georgia that serves both children and adults. We also have the only two fellowship-trained orthopaedic oncologists in the state of Georgia that concentrates their practice within this sub-specialty.

Our highly skilled team treats a wide range of orthopedic bone tumors, and has the support of the largest Sarcoma Center in the Atlanta region.

Some of the procedures and treatments our orthopaedic oncology surgeons use include:

  • Chemotherapy
  • Complex Limb Reconstruction
  • Diagnostic Imaging
  • Radiation
  • Tumor Resection
